Tamasha movie director Imtiaz Ali was interested in casting Bobby Deol for the movie. However, things won’t go the way he had expected.
Bobby Deol was getting bigger opportunities from big production houses. So Imtiaz said let’s not do it together. So Bobby Deol and Imtiaz missed the opportunity to work together.

We know the acting potential Bobby has but sometimes getting the right script and a good project is important. If he had done Jab We Met maybe things could have gone wrong but with such a great script I still feel it would have been a new beginning for him.

Though an ex-couple Kareena and Shahid had shared the greatest chemistry of all time while being in the relationship. Their chemistry in the movie Jab We Met was cute, refreshing, curious, and exciting. The way they portrayed the characters of Aditya and Geet constantly keeps us on our toes to find self-love.
Well, Aditya is completely opposite to Geet’s bubbly personality sometimes makes us wonder why we need Geet and Aditya in a relationship.

Imtiaz also revealed that he was keen to cast Sunny Deol in Highway
Bobby Deol’s brother and Gadar 2 actor Sunny Deol was also considered by Imtiaz Ali. Imtiaz Ali revealed that he was keen to cast Sunny Deol, Opposite Alia Bhatt in the movie Highway. However late the role was performed by Randeep Hooda.
Highway was one of the most critically acclaimed movies in Alia Bhatt’s career. I would have loved to see Sunny Deol in the movie Highway. But I feel Randeep Hooda showed us why he deserves more chances in the movie.
From Jab We Met to Jab Harry Met Sejal, we came a long way
Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal weren’t able to weave their magic at the box office. However, the story of Sejal and Harry did win many hearts. Maybe Imtiaz Ali lost a trick with the biggest superstar in the movie. I still feel the audience just underestimated the movie like they did with Tamasha without giving it a try.
Where Aditya and Geet explored many aspects, Harry and Sejal simply touched our hearts.
