Recently things have become more controversial when Twitter’s ex CEO talked about Twitter India and the threats he had received to shut down the twitter in India.
Ex-Twitter CEO recently said that he was asked to remove some content on the platform. Jack Dorsey further stated that he was threatened, if twitter will not remove or ban such trends or accounts or tweets from twitter they will shut down the twitters operation in India.
Twitters new owner Elon Musk reacted to this statement.
Elon Musk said ” Twitter doesn’t have a choice but to obey local government and it’s law. He further added “If we don’t obey the local government laws we will get shutdown.
This reaction came after Elon Musk meeting with PM Narendra Modi. Elon Musk also said that we cannot apply America to Earth.
He has also talked about future of Tesla in India.
