Recently opened up about why he is not doing many projects and he also talked more about why he ends up taking more time on single project.

Karan speaking about his choices added that he needs to be very careful and need to select good script. He said he is outsider and being an outsider it always become difficult to survive. If I will not select good script it will become difficult for me. I may not get second chance.
He said, people coming from the industry have their support and they are allowed to make mistakes or they can give back to back flops.
But being an outsider, I’m not free to make mistakes. I would love to do back to back projects but I do not have leverage to make bad choices. So I end up taking more time.
Being an outsider you need to select your own script
Karan further added, If you’re an outsider you need to take your own choice. There’s no one for you who will give the advise or will tell what to do. This makes it more difficult.
However on the other side, being an insider you can have lot of people with the experience and they can advise what is better for them and what is not. They can take more time and are free to make mistakes.
